Alexa is a Maryland native who grew up in Southern Maryland. She attended Frostburg State University, where she studied Biology, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, and Animal Behavior. She received her bachelor’s degree and worked as a Veterinary Technician. Alexa then moved back to Southern Maryland and continued her studies at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she received her J.D.
During her final year of law school, Alexa began working as a law clerk at Potter Burnett Law. After passing the bar, she accepted an Associate position at the firm.
She is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice, the Prince George’s County Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association.
In her free time, Alexa enjoys hiking, biking, painting, and spending time with her family and two cats.
