Potter Burnett Law has adopted an African lion through the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute of the National Zoo for another year!
The African lion is listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. Lion populations have greatly decreased due to habitat loss and human conflict. This adoption supports Friends of the National Zoo and helps the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute to save species.
Potter Burnett holds this particular organization near and dear to their heart because of their love for animals and its direct connection to their iconic symbol, the lion. The whole office was excited when this year’s adoption package arrived to the office. Complete with a photo, adoption certificate, stuffed lion, and ‘home’ with a “Do Not Feed!” sticker, the team couldn’t wait to display the entire package.
